|My husband made kinilaw na balat ng baboy so I decided to have something healthy to go with it. Too much food indulgence, sweets, fatty foods, junk foods, including alcohol literally almost ruined my first day of the year. I was wasted and had alcohol hangover.
Anyway, here’s my version of cabbage slaw 🙂 not so healthy though because i didn’t use a low fat mayo.
Cabbage, thinly chopped – 100 g.
Carrots, chopped – 50 g.
Onion, chopped – 1 medium
Tomato Catsup – 3 tbsp
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Blanch cabbage and carrots with hot water. Drain well. Add the onion and mix well.
2. Mix tomato catsup, mayonnaise, salt, and ground black pepper.
3. Add catsup-mayonnaise dressing to the cabbage-carrots. Mix well.
Chill it in the fridge for an hour before serving.
