Butterscotch Sauce

This is the recipe for the butterscotch sauce I used for the butterscotch bread I made.


Skimmed milk – 30 g.

Butter – 30 g.

All Purpose flour – 30 g.

Honey – 50 g.

White Sugar – 50 g.

Cooking Procedure:

 1. On a very low fire, melt the butter and then add the flour.  Mix them thoroughly.

2.  Add the sugar and the honey and stir them on the butter-flour mixture.

3. Gradually add the milk.

4.  Stir briskly until the mixture is smooth.

5. Let it simmer.  Continue to stir until the mixture is thick

Remove from fire and use as required.

This can be used in 2 loaves. Here’s the estimated total nutritional values per this recipe based on the ingredients used.
